When you decide to burn yourselves a cd form your mp3 you also might want to own a nice cover. Again: Photo Opportunity comes to the rescue.

Below you will find the option for cd-cover. A regular jewelbox and a selfdesigned, paper only, arty, cut, fold, glue and stick it version. For this you may need some help.

You can use standard multicopy paper, but the cover of course will be stronger if you take something a little heavier, for example 160g/m2. And if you, just like Photo Opportunity, love nature and feel a strong hatred against your local cable company, just tear out a fine piece of second hand out of that nice subpoena by UPC that is probably lying about somewhere. Keep al the equipment within hand and carefully follow up all instructions. The more precise you work, the neater your beta 2.003 CD-cover will look!

Step 1
Print the image on a piece of paper and carefully trim the paper on the edges of the drawing. Use a paper cutter or a steady hand, and look out for your fingers.

Step 2

Cut out the drawing along the dotted lines. Don’t cut any further than the lines dot, and keep looking out for your fingers. Don’t forget the little snip at the end of the big one!

Step 3
Fold over the two flaps of Corner A along the line. Make sure the edges of the flaps are parallel to the edge of paper.

Step 4
Spread glue on thin on Adhesive Edge 1.

Step 5
Fold over Corner C along the line and glue it on Adhesive Edge 1. Make sure that salt cellar and pepper pot connect nicely. Then spread glue on thin on Adhesive Edge 2.

Step 6
Fold over Corner B along the line and glue it on Adhevise Edges 1 and 2. Make sure the little corner folds along. And again make sure that salt cellar and pepper pot connect nicely.

Step 7
Fold over Line D along the edge of the sword.

Step 8
Seal the two flaps together.

Step 9
Use a sharp knife in order to make Incision E. Make sure to cut through both layers of paper and be very careful for your fingers!

Step 10
Put the cd on which you burned beta 2.003 in the sleeve. To close the cover, fold over the flap and put the point of the sword in Incision E.

Step 11
Voilà. If it doesn’t work smoothly at first, just piss about a bit. After all, its new.
